Sometimes when people say exotic I think of this.  I much prefer this.  Both are really well done; I usually lean towards the colors in the first image. I would have to pick the second as my favorite because I'm a sucker for a salon style wall and I just can't handle that tiger with the grandma squares quilt. i definitely like the second better. i love pretty much everything about it, expect maybe the wall color (which totally works in the space, just a color that i'd never be very drawn too) and a few of the more extreme wall hangings (again, that antelope head looks perfect in the space, just not something i'd ever put on my wall!). i love the clean lined sofa mixed with the "exotic"/moroccan-ish side tables...those are awesome!.
